Consulting for Kyocera.  Archiving project for serial numbers and custom tables.  Train and mentor new analysts.  PP Project Lead for a successful big bang SAP implementation at former Tycom Corporation, a cutting tool manufacturer.

Formerly Consulting for Carefusion, San Diego, CA.   Specifically hired to review, analyze and resolve backlog of open Helpdesk Tickets.  

Formerly consulting for Kyocera International, Inc, as a senior systems analyst.   Design and create new Plant in SAP for Kyocera Solar, Inc facility in San Diego.  Handle all other responsibilities as a member of the SAP Team, such as maintenance requests, training, documentation, and helpdesk responsibilities.   Also responsible for Archiving clean-up as part of ECC6.0 Upgrade Project.

Formerly consulting for Triquint Semiconductor, Inc in Hillsboro, Oregon as a trainer for production planning.  Also did blueprint phase for Plant Maintenance implementation.

Formerly consulting for Applied Micro Systems Corporation on ECC6.0.  Create training materials using Camtasia and Word work instructions. Review business processes and create configuration Transport Requests.  Act as outsourced Production Planning analyst.  Also acting as an outsourced Helpdesk, for PP and other related SAP modules.

     After completing the MRP implementation at Kyocera, I was asked to join the their SAP support team staff.   My next major project was as Project Manager for implementing Shop Floor Control at the San Diego and Mexico plants, on SAP 4.6B.   I was also the Project Lead for  implementation of the Export Control functionality for SD, Quality Management for production and incoming inspection, E-mailing of purchase orders and other documents, the Document Management System, and a successful R/3 Enterprise upgrade project.  I also have experience with Archiving and Authorizations, and was Project Lead for our Plant Maintenance implementation.    Other duties include supporting all current manufacturing processes at all Kyocera companies, teaching production planners and supervisors about SAP, and writing scripts and recording  all business processes using the RWD software program, and the TechSmith Camtasia recording software program.   Also responsible for Warehouse Management, including configuration. Very familiar with PP and MM table structures and Quickviewer.   Implemented first phase of Quality Management project.  PP, MRP, MM, IM, DM, S&OP, SFC, QM, PM, WM.

     Project Manager at Kyocera America, Inc for their SAP MRP Production Planning implementation, on version 3.1G.  Only SAP consultant on-site from beginning to end of successful project.  Responsible for the configuration of the IMG, business systems analysis and design, and training of all personnel, from Management to End-User. Recorded over 200 Lotus ScreenCams. Also handled the PP portion of the upgrade to 4.6B.

Also doing part time consulting at TriQuint Semiconductor in Hillsboro, Or.

Previously consulting at Varian (Medical Division).  Recorded over 100 Lotus ScreenCams for all manufacturing transactions.  Training all end users, and management team members.    PP, MRP, MM, IM, DM, S&OP

      Senior SAP PP consultant and instructor.  Assigned as Project Lead for the PP implementation at Raytheon Aircraft, Wichita, KS.  $3 Billion manufacturing implementation on SAP 4.5 (until 3-1-99).  Also doing consulting at ESRI (Redlands, CA), Tellabs (Long Island, NY), and Varian OS Division (Palo Alto, CA).  PP, MM.


SAP Production Planning Instructor,  SAP America, Inc 

01-97 to 10-98 Foster City, CA

      Full time instructor for all production planning and execution courses, including MRP, Master Scheduling, Capacity Requirements Planning, Flexible Planning, and other assorted areas.  Course numbers taught were: LO050, LO070, LO205, LO210, LO215, LO225, LO230, LO235, LO250, and LO935.    Extensive travel required.  Responsible for training new hire consultants at the Atlanta facility.  Completed nine weeks of new hire training in Boston.  PP.



Between 1981 and 1997 I worked in a series of production planning and execution jobs in a number of industries, primarily PCB assembly and laser manufacturing.   The positions included production planner/scheduler, buyer, stockroom supervisor, and master scheduler.  During these years I learned MRP, SFC, CRP, Inventory Control, and all other areas of what is now referred to as Supply Chain Management. 

Towards the end of this period, my primary role changed to project manager for 3 ERP software system implementations.  During this time I gained project management and implementation experience.  For a short period I owned a pizza parlor, and also achieved an MBA from Santa Clara University in 1993.

11-93 to 09-95, 2-96 to 5-96  Sunnyvale, CA   

     Retained as consultant, also assumed position of Material Manager.  Designed manufacturing operations system.  Selected and was Project Manager for implementing Expandable Software, Inc.'s MRP II manufacturing software system. Wrote computer programs for management reports.  Hired and trained production manager, material manager, buyer, and stockroom personnel.


Implementation Project Manager (Consultant) Sigma Circuits, Inc. (PCB Manufacturing and Assembly)

09-95 to 04-96  Santa Clara, CA      

     As Project Manager, I was responsible for the implementation of ROI Inc.'s Manage 2000 manufacturing software system in the assembly division, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.  Coordinated with ROI consultants in designing courses for each functional area, and to design management reports.  Worked with the users to ensure full use of the MRP II concepts.  Created a planning method to deal with customer approved vendor lists on  Bills of Materials.

05-93 to 11-93  Bozeman, MT   

     Selected and was Project Manager for implementing Expandable Software, Inc.'s manufacturing package.   Taught basic manufacturing concepts, implemented MRP, and wrote scripts for the specific computer transactions for all end users.      


Master Scheduler Coherent, Inc. (Laser Manufacturing on ASK MANMAN)

11-91 to 05-93 Santa Clara, CA

     Revised entire planning system for the Advanced Laser Systems and CO2 Business Units. Designed master scheduling techniques for configurable products with 15 level BOMs.  Acting Distribution Systems supervisor responsible for all stockroom activities and movement of materials.    Designed and coordinated Sales and Operations planning methods and forecasting systems for top-level master production scheduled products. Created and maintained top level planning bills.  Responsible for the accuracy of both the MRP and the MPS.  Troubleshoot and resolve questionable MRP output.  Also acted as Liaison with MIS.
